Alexander orders Ava to back up her words right there in the great hall. The onlookers and the Head Nanny stand close by, waiting for the girl to fail in front of the Alpha.

Ava uses gentle strokes on the pup's ears. Leon quiets down and begins purring under her hands. In his mind, he admires her flower scent and begs her to take out the bad splinter.
