Nathan's mother returns inside while Claire gets a text saying her replacement groom is near with a gown and jewelry. Claire starts taking off her pearl earrings. Nathan and his friends assume she is undressing to fit through the pet door. Instead, Claire tears off her veil and pulls at her ring. Nathan stops smiling, grabs her hand to hold the ring in place, and warns her that her sick grandfather is on his way.

00:00: New Groom on the Way
Nathan's mother walks back inside the manor. Claire checks her phone and sees a message. Her replacement groom is arriving soon. He is bringing along a brand-new wedding gown and fresh jewelry for their ceremony.
00:23: Removing the Pearl Jewelry
Claire reaches up and removes her pearl earrings alongside her other accessories. Nathan's friends laugh loudly at her actions. They believe she is stripping down so she can squeeze her body through the small dog door.
00:53: Nathan's Arrogant Assumption
Nathan brags to his friends that Claire will stay obedient. He turns to Claire and tells her to stop undressing completely. He orders her to remove just enough clothing to slip through the pet entrance.
01:17: Discarding the Veil
Claire ignores Nathan's instructions. She grabs her veil, rips it off her head, and drops it directly onto the ground. Next, she reaches down toward her finger and begins sliding off her wedding band.
01:41: Nathan Grabs Claire's Hand
Nathan's smile disappears as he lunges forward and catches Claire's hand. He forces the ring down onto her finger. Then he brings up her sick grandfather, who checked out of the hospital to attend the wedding.
