In their cottage, Kellen presents Eleanor with a simple handmade ring. Later, Isolde arrives at the smithy to mock Eleanor's poor conditions. Eleanor silences her by mentioning the bruise on Isolde's cheek. Suddenly, a courier enters and hands Kellen tavern financial ledgers.
