Cora Vance flees through a dark forest in her wedding dress to escape an arranged marriage. Nearby, Enzo Russo calls off his pack's hunt for his missing bride, but stops his car after sensing fear on his land. When a train corners Cora on the tracks, Enzo pulls her out of danger. Cora immediately bites Enzo's neck to trigger a mate bond, unaware she just marked the Alpha she ran away from.

00:00: Barefoot Flight in the Woods
Cora Vance runs barefoot through the dark woods in a torn bridal gown. Werewolf pursuers slash their claws behind her as she flees. She refuses to submit to an arranged union with an Alpha she has never met.
00:22: Orders Inside the Car
Enzo Russo sits in his car while his subordinate reports the bride's disappearance. Enzo rejects the elders' demands and cancels the hunt. He catches the scent of blood and fear in his territory and orders his driver to pull over immediately.
00:55: Rescue on the Train Tracks
Pursuers push Cora onto active train tracks inside an abandoned railway tunnel. An oncoming locomotive charges directly toward her. Enzo suddenly darts forward, pulls Cora against his chest out of the train's direct path, and pins her to the concrete wall.
01:15: A Reckless Mate Mark
Cora apologizes, stands on her tiptoes, and bites Enzo's neck. A golden totem lights up on their skin, sealing their bond. Cora wipes the blood from her lips and claims her independence. Enzo smiles coldly and asks if she knows him.
