Julian names Lila his chief mate, then asks if Mia took Bloodline Awakening. Lila hastily calls it worthless.

  1. 00:00: A Warning in the Chamber

    Mia tells Lila about the heavy physical toll caused by the Multiple Births gift. Lila scoffs at her warning. She tells Mia to worry about herself instead, grabs her arm, and pulls her out toward the gathering hall.

  2. 00:14: Arrival in the Gathering Hall

    Mia and Lila walk into the grand gathering hall together. Young heirs from different beastkin clans watch both sisters step inside. A wolf clan heir calls out to them and asks what gifts each sister took during the ceremony.

  3. 00:26: Julian Names His Chief Mate

    Lila walks over to Julian Goldmane and reveals that she selected Multiple Births. Julian announces that Lila is now his chief mate. Then he notes the gift's drawbacks and asks Lila if Mia took Bloodline Awakening instead.

  4. 01:06: Past Memories and Desperate Excuses

    Mia remembers that Julian wanted Bloodline Awakening for himself in their past life. In the hall, Lila rushes to downplay the gift. She pleads with Julian, telling him Bloodline Awakening is useless and begging him not to be fooled.
