Julian values raw status and bloodline superiority above all else. He makes Lila his chief mate for her child-bearing gift, but he remains fixated on whether Bloodline Awakening is the superior power.

Story so far

Beastkin Reborn: Bloodline Awakens sets up a savage clash between two sisters who carry past-life memories into a new cycle of political ambition. Mia Whitepaw was murdered in her previous life by her jealous elder sister, Lila Whitepaw, after Mia bore children for Julian Goldmane of the Lion Clan. Reborn at the very threshold of their coming-of-age ceremony, Mia encounters a Lila who also remembers everything. Driven by past envy, Lila grabs the Multiple Births gift, believing children translate directly to standing, while Mia accepts Bloodline Awakening.

The power dynamics shift instantly across clan lines. Julian Goldmane wants strong bloodlines to secure his seat atop the beastkin clans, yet he readily names Lila his chief mate when she promises him numbers. Mia’s father, Aldric Whitepaw, rules through reputation and fear. He lies to Julian about Bloodline Awakening being a dead legend, strikes Mia with a golden whip at the first accusation of disgrace, and orders her exiled after brutal lightning punishment.

Mia’s survival hinges on her calculated alliance with Oliver Brownfield, the despised Rabbit Clan heir. While others write Oliver off as weak, Mia knows two crucial truths: Oliver wept over her body in her past life, and he carries the hidden golden forehead mark of the legendary Sky-Rend divine beast. By choosing exile and binding herself to Oliver, Mia leaves behind a corrupt household to build real power.

Memorable lines

“Bloodline Awakening or Multiple Births. Lila, Mia, make your choice.”
Aldric Whitepaw

“Lila and I are in love. As of today she is Goldmane's chief mate. But if I remember right that gift is the worst one. Did Mia take Bloodline Awakening?”
Julian Goldmane

“Father you may not know this, Mia's been sneaking around with that Rabbit Clan heir. She was too embarrassed to say anything. There's even rabbit fur from him by her bedside.”
Lila

“Mia Whitepaw and I never met before today. Total lies. No proof. What the hell gives you the right to ruin her like this?”
Oliver Brownfield

“We're going. There's a good show waiting.”
Mia Whitepaw
