Headmaster Hatton asks his adopted daughter, Eileen, to choose an engagement contract with one of his three Alpha sons. Eileen turns down Locke, Elo, and Owen because their feelings toward her have died. Flashbacks recall how she saved Hatton as a child and grew up loved by the boys before Chloe arrived. Instead of the brothers, Eileen agrees to marry the fallen former West Coast Alpha, Bruno. She leaves the office and meets the three sons and Chloe.

Eileen opens the door and walks into the academy hallway. Locke, Elo, and Owen stand directly in front of her with Chloe. Chloe stands beside the three Alpha brothers while crying, blocking Eileen's path forward.
