Outside the bedroom, an injured Matteo refuses treatment and commands his assistant to proceed with killing the woman inside. Matteo wheels into the bridal chamber and finds Lucy Caruso stuffing strawberry cake into her mouth. He points his gun directly at her mouth, demanding if she started the hillside fire. Lucy starts choking on the cake and cries for water. After drinking, she asks if she can finish another slice before they consummate their marriage.

  1. 00:00: Matteo Orders the Execution

    While the hillside fire burns below, the injured Matteo refuses medical attention in the hallway. He commands his assistant in the beige suit to proceed with their original plan and kill the woman inside. Then, he rolls his wheelchair into the room.

  2. 00:20: Lucy Eats Strawberry Cake

    Matteo enters the bridal bedroom and spots Lucy frantically eating strawberry cake. He observes the deep scars covering her hands. Behind him, the assistant confirms to Matteo that this woman is indeed Lucy Caruso.

  3. 00:40: Interrogation at Gunpoint

    Matteo points his gun straight into Lucy's mouth. He demands to know if she and her partners set the hillside blaze. Lucy chokes on the mouthful of cake, crying and pleading for a drink. Matteo hands her a cup of water.

  4. 00:58: A Request for More Cake

    After gulping down the water, Lucy asks Matteo if he is the husband Rosa mentioned. She asks if they must consummate the marriage immediately or if she has time to eat another slice of cake first.
