Episode 9 · Ivy, Ethan, Logan
In the hospital room, Ivy suffers an acute allergic reaction to the lilies Lily brought. Lily claims she did not know about the pollen allergy. Ivy remembers that Ethan, Logan, and Madison knew about her severe allergy since childhood. Ethan comforts Lily, Logan takes the flowers, and Madison scolds Ivy. Ivy yells at them to leave. The nurse removes the bouquet, and Ethan demands an apology for Lily.
Ivy suffers an acute allergic reaction in her hospital bed. She pushes away the white lilies that Lily is holding near her. Lily steps back and immediately claims she had no idea Ivy had a pollen allergy.
Ivy remembers moments from her childhood home and school campus. In these memories, Ethan, Logan, and Madison are fully aware of her severe allergy to pollen. They knew about her medical condition for many years growing up.
Ethan comforts Lily while Logan takes the bouquet of flowers. Madison criticizes Ivy, claiming she is taking out her anger about PED rumors on Lily. Ivy refuses to listen to their accusations and screams at the group to leave.
The nurse enters the hospital room and takes the flowers away. She scolds the visitors for bringing pollen to an allergic patient and sends them outside. Before walking out, Ethan coldly commands Ivy to reflect and apologize to Lily.
“I'm sorry, I didn't know Ivy was allergic to pollen.”
“Ivy, Lily's came to see you, don't take it out on her just because of the PED rumors.”
“She has a pollen allergy. Why would you bring flowers into her room? Please leave, she needs rest.”
“Reflect on what you did. When you've thought it through, go apologize to Lily.”
The nurse forces the visitors out into the hallway to protect Ivy's recovery. Before he steps through the door, Ethan turns to Ivy with a cold look. He commands his sick sister to think over her actions and give Lily an apology. Will Ivy surrender to Ethan's demands, or will she finally cut ties with him completely?
