Vanessa rips fur from Tessa's back, and a mage pins Tessa under a heavy net. Pip flies in to help, but an enemy mage blasts him down. Old Rowan tries pulling the net away until Vanessa cuts off his crown using dark magic. Other forest animals attack, but the mages brutally wound them. Pip crawls toward Tessa, and Vanessa aims floating magic blades at the bleeding animals while Tessa pleads for them.

00:00: Trapped Beneath the Net
Vanessa tears a bloody patch of fur directly from Tessa's back. A mage then drops a heavy net over Tessa to keep her pinned to the ground. Tessa cannot break free from the weight pressing down on her.
00:14: Pip Tries to Save Tessa
Pip rushes into the clearing to rescue Tessa from the invaders. Before the tiny blue bird can reach her, one of Vanessa's mages hits Pip with an energy blast. The strike throws him backward onto the dirt, badly wounded.
00:36: Old Rowan Loses His Crown
Old Rowan steps forward and grabs the heavy net to pull it off Tessa. Vanessa quickly counters the ancient tree shifter by unleashing dark magic. Her spell slices through his wooden crown and severs it completely.
01:09: The Forest Animals Charge
The local forest animals rush forward together to attack the invading mages. Vanessa snaps a deer's leg on the spot. The other mages unleash magical blasts into the crowd, hurling every beast backward and leaving them wounded and bleeding.
01:23: Floating Blades Over Fallen Friends
The injured Pip crawls through the dirt to reach Tessa's side and offer comfort. Vanessa raises her hands and summons a floating circle of sharp blades directly above the fallen creatures. Tessa cries out and begs Vanessa to spare them.

Vanessa holds a ring of hovering magic blades pointed straight at the wounded valley creatures. Tessa remains pinned under the net, weeping and begging the archmage to stop attacking her friends. Will Vanessa execute the helpless animals on the spot, or will Tessa agree to Vanessa's demands to keep them alive?
