Evelyn walks down the aisle to marry Damian Knight. The priest leads the ceremony as Evelyn and Damian exchange rings and speak their wedding vows. After the service, Felix notes Evelyn's calm demeanor in the hallway. A woman in sunglasses confronts Evelyn in the foyer and hurls an insult at her. Evelyn ignores the rude remark. She and Damian get into a vehicle and depart from the church together.
Evelyn steps into the church wearing her wedding dress. She walks down the long aisle toward Damian Knight, who waits for her at the front. Damian sits silently in his wheelchair, wearing his silver half-mask as guests look on.
The priest stands before the couple to lead the marriage ceremony. Evelyn and Damian face each other at the altar. They exchange their wedding bands, recite their spoken vows of commitment, and formally complete their vows despite the tense room.
The wedding party leaves the main sanctuary and proceeds through the church hallway. Damian's assistant Felix walks alongside the newlyweds. Felix takes note of how calm and steady Evelyn remains right after completing the high-pressure marriage ceremony.
A woman wearing sunglasses stops Evelyn in the church foyer before she can leave. The woman ridicules Evelyn for marrying Damian and directly calls her Mrs. Cripple. Evelyn stands in front of her without reacting to the harsh mockery.
Evelyn and Damian climb into their car and leave the church grounds. Neither of them speaks a word to the other during the drive. Evelyn sits in the passenger seat and stares down intently at the band on her finger.
