In the glasshouse corridor, Elena teases Duke Alistair. He caresses her face, notes her seduction attempt, and sniffs her scent from his gloved hand as she walks away smiling. Julian catches Elena in the hallway, choking and shoving her down over her stained dress. He orders her to play the harp for Alistair. While Julian drinks until he collapses at the table, Elena steps away from the instrument. Alistair pulls her into his lap.
