Who is who in The Sealed Farm Daughter Is the Bloodline's Queen, and how they are connected.
Avera Astora
Protagonist and True Heiress
Raised on a lavender farm by Ronald, Avera conceals world-destroying magic behind common sense and agricultural tools. She enters House Astora strictly to obtain gold and protect her adoptive father's land. Avera refuses to swallow insults from her hostile brothers. She exposes their cruelty to high society and summons a colossal dragon familiar when pushed into open combat.
Brianna
The Raised Stand-in
Brianna spent eighteen years enjoying the luxuries of House Astora. When Avera arrives, Brianna defaults to theatrical weeping and victimhood to keep the brothers under her thumb. She manipulates family loyalty and mocks Avera's farm roots. Her reckless arrogance leads her to force a magic duel that backfires completely.
Andras
Hostile Astora Brother
Andras defends Brianna with fierce, blind aggression. He despises Avera on sight, labeling her a filthy peasant and threatening her life. Rather than welcoming his blood sister, he casts magic projectiles at her head and burns her wrist. His constant arrogance blinds him to Avera's true power until the truth explodes in the arena.
Linus DelSol
Knight Mage and Betrothed
Linus serves Empress Felicity and enters the Astora estate bound to an arranged betrothal. He initially seeks an easy exit from the marriage contract. Avera's unusual demand for a barrel of gold sparks his curiosity, so he keeps the engagement active. In the arena, he shows genuine concern for Avera's safety before she reveals her dragon.
Lady Astora
Noble Matriarch and ArchMage
Lady Astora cares deeply about family status and social appearances. She publicly presents Avera as her returned daughter to boast about pure bloodlines before high society. Despite this display, she coddles Brianna's emotional ploys. When the duel begins, she coldly dismisses Avera and predicts her biological child will bring nothing but shame to the Astora name.
Story so far
Avera Astora grew up working lavender fields and handling farm tools under the watchful eye of Ronald. When an envoy summons her to House Astora as their lost heiress, she steps straight into a viper pit. The family spent eighteen years raising Brianna, a surrogate daughter who knows how to weaponize tears. Brothers Andras and Armand protect Brianna with open malice. They immediately treat their actual blood sister like an unwanted trespasser.
The conflict centers on misjudged power. The Astora family views Avera as a peasant with manure on her boots. In truth, Ronald helped seal world-destroying magic within her. Her only motive for entering the manor was securing gold to save her farm from Boris and Sorceress Esmerelda. Lady Astora obsesses over public prestige, while the brothers throw violent spells to guard Brianna's status. Avera chooses quiet restraint over mindless wrath. She deflects attacks with farm reflexes and letter openers. She refuses to show her hand before the time is right.
Linus DelSol complicates this cold war. The warrior mage enters seeking to dissolve an arranged match, but Avera's sharp indifference catches his attention. When she asks only for gold to walk away, Linus halts the breakup. Brianna's jealousy boils over and pushes the tension straight into the arena. The family wants to humiliate their peasant daughter before the nobility. Instead, they back a sleeping giant into a corner.
