At a private medical center, Emily Parker sees the $12,800 bill for their family checkup and asks to cancel it. Daniel Parker tells her the cost does not matter because he expects a promotion. In the lobby, Daniel greets his boss, Richard Sterling, who says the promotion decision comes soon. In a corridor, Tyler Parker grabs a blind woman's cane and knocks her down. Margaret and Daniel blame the woman.

In the corridor, Tyler Parker snatches a cane from a blind woman, knocking her to the floor. Margaret Parker steps in and yells at the woman on the ground. Daniel arrives right after and sides with his son against the fallen patient.
