Nora Hayes ends up on the street after her ex-husband smashes her food cart. While walking with her suitcase, she spots three men forcing young Mia into a van. Nora hurls a gas tank at the van and knocks out the kidnappers. At the police station, Nora uses her last six dollars to cook noodles for Mia. Once police locate Mia's family, Nora pulls away and leaves while Mia cries in the hallway.

01:24: Kidnapping on the Street
Nora walks down a dark street with her suitcase. She spots three men dragging Mia into a van while the girl screams. Nora drops her luggage and runs after them, but the moving van throws her to the ground.

Nora grabs a gas tank from a roadside truck and throws it through the van window. The van crashes into a guardrail. Nora fights all three kidnappers barehanded, knocks them unconscious, and pulls Mia from the vehicle.
02:39: Noodles at the Police Station
Mia clings to Nora inside the police station and says she is hungry. Nora spends her final six dollars on eggs and vegetables. She borrows the station kitchen to cook a bowl of noodles, which Mia eats quickly.
03:12: A Tearful Parting
A police officer tells Nora that Mia's family has been found. Nora stands up to leave. Mia runs after her, grips Nora's leg, and begs her to stay. Nora gently removes Mia's hands and walks down the hall.
