Arthur and Ella escape their pursuers into the foggy wasteland. Arthur checks his injured arm and decides they must link up with Olaf. On a rocky ridge, Ella presents the third shard to Olaf. Olaf reveals that a dozen of Odinson's werewolves are marching toward Starfall Altar. Arthur changes course toward the steep scree ridge to avoid them. As they climb, Ella shares her water and questions Arthur's ability to continue.

Arthur and Ella get away from their pursuers in the foggy wasteland. Arthur inspects the fresh wound on his arm. He tells Ella they have to meet up with Olaf before they can travel toward Starfall Altar.

Arthur and Ella join Olaf on a rocky ridge overlooking the valley. Ella shows Olaf the recovered third shard. Olaf reports that Odinson's werewolves are marching ahead, so Arthur redirects their path across the eastern scree ridge.

The three trek across the steep rock slope. Ella hands Olaf some water to drink. They talk about the heavy pressure Ella feels in her chest from holding the shards. Ella asks if Arthur's injured body can make it.
