On a rainy street, Elliot gets fired from his job and dumped by his girlfriend over the phone. He spots a glowing door marked "Memory" in an alley. Inside the shop, Winnie offers him a deal: trade a cherished memory for seven days in an ideal life. Elliot agrees and signs the contract. He collapses onto the floor. Winnie examines a broken pocket watch while a man named Cade spots the magical contract from a rooftop.

00:00: A Doorway in the Rain
Elliot stands outside in the rain after losing his job. His girlfriend breaks up with him during a phone call. Desperate and stranded, Elliot notices a glowing doorway marked "Memory" materialize in a dark alley, and he walks toward it.
00:26: Trading a Precious Memory
Elliot steps inside the strange shop and meets Winnie. She explains that he can rent an ideal life for seven days if he gives up a precious memory. Elliot accepts the terms and signs the contract at the counter.
01:24: The Glowing Pocket Watch
Elliot faints right after signing. Winnie looks down at a damaged pocket watch marked "-ade." Up on a city tower, Cade notices the glowing scroll, mutters to himself, and jumps into the air as Winnie's watch suddenly shines with light.
