Adrian waters the estate garden while weak from days without food in the storage room. He passes out among the plants. His sister Claire runs to his side, checks his pulse, and spots the scars covering his arm. Damon walks over and tells Claire that Adrian is faking. Claire accepts Damon's words. She orders Adrian to stand before their father catches him, then walks off with Damon, leaving Adrian lying alone.
