Mia Chen wakes up in bed beside Ethan Hale in room 303 at the Manhattan Grand Hotel. She spots his key card, panics, and rushes out, leaving her daisy brooch behind on the bed. At work, Mia tells Luna how drinking ruined her banquet reward night. Ethan appears at their cosmetics counter. He returns her brooch, presents a damaged cufflink, and demands fifty thousand dollars or an agreement to one condition.
Mia Chen wakes up in bed next to Ethan Hale. She reads his name on the room key card, panics, and quickly slips out of the suite. In her rush, she leaves her daisy brooch behind on the sheets.
Mia arrives at the luxury cosmetics counter for her shift. She talks to Luna about the previous evening. Mia admits she drank too much alcohol and completely ruined what was supposed to be her celebratory banquet reward night.
Ethan tracks Mia down at the counter and hands back her daisy brooch. He then displays a cufflink she broke during the night. He demands fifty thousand dollars for the damage, but offers to settle it through a single condition.
“The Manhattan Grand Hotel, Room 303, Mr. Ethan...”
“This is yours, isn't it?”
“At least fifty thousand dollars. But if you agree to one condition, we can call it even.”
“What condition?”
Ethan confronts Mia right at her workplace with the broken cufflink. He names a massive fifty-thousand-dollar debt, but immediately offers to erase it if she agrees to one condition. Mia looks at him and asks what he wants. Can she afford to walk away, or will she be forced to accept Ethan's terms?
