Maeve Collins wakes up in bed next to Beckett Rhodes after graduation night. Outside in the hallway, classmates make cruel jokes, and Beckett mutters Sloane's name in his sleep. Maeve flees by jumping out a second-story window into the garden. Six years later, Tessa Ward pushes Vera Lennox to pitch her movie Chasing Shadows to an industry executive. In the lounge, Vera realizes the man she needs is Beckett.

  1. 00:00: Awakening in Beckett's Hotel Bedroom

    Maeve finds herself in bed with Beckett after graduation night. In the hall, classmates make fun of her and claim Sloane Whitaker owned the room keycard. Beckett mumbles Sloane's name in his sleep. Maeve panics and looks around for an escape.

  2. 01:10: Escape Through the Bedroom Window

    Maeve decides to climb out the second-story bedroom window so no one sees her. She drops into the bushes on the garden patio below. Hurting and barefoot, she runs away from the hotel before anyone can catch her.

  3. 01:55: Meeting Outside the VIP Lounge

    Six years later, Tessa Ward talks to Vera Lennox in a luxury venue hallway. Tessa tells her that an entertainment boss named Beckett holds the power to save their film, Chasing Shadows. She pushes Vera to go inside and pitch him.

  4. 02:36: Face to Face with Beckett

    Vera enters the VIP lounge and sees Beckett Rhodes sitting inside. She introduces herself and pitches Chasing Shadows while other guests laugh at her. Embarrassed, Vera puts down her drink and walks toward the door until Beckett calls out to her.
