Emily serves beer in a busy nightclub. A customer drops a pill into a beer glass and demands she drink with him. She refuses his offer, shoves him away, and runs. Two men chase her down the hallway until she bumps into Luke. The customer recognizes Luke as the Danesi heir and rushes away. Emily thanks him, then passes out in his arms.
Dancers perform on stage while noisy patrons drink at the club. Emily carries a tray of beer through the crowd. She places a drink in front of a waiting patron at the bar counter as people shout and cheer around her.
A male customer grabs Emily's arm to stop her from leaving. He slips a pill into her beer and orders her to drink it. He offers her money, but Emily pushes him backward and flees into the crowded room.
Two men chase Emily down the hallway. Emily panics and runs directly into Luke. The companion steps forward to grab her, but the customer realizes Luke is the Danesi heir. He stammers out apologies and quickly runs away with his friend.
Emily looks up and thanks Luke for intervening. Luke checks on her condition and asks if she is fine. Emily tries to remain standing, but her body gives out. She loses consciousness and collapses into his arms in the hallway.
“Have a drink with me. Name your price.”
“No, I won't sell myself!”
“Don't you know who that is? That's the Danesi heir.”
“Are you okay?”
Emily thanks Luke for saving her from the two men. Luke asks if she is all right, but Emily cannot stand any longer. She collapses directly into Luke's arms in the corridor. Will Luke find help for the unconscious waitress, or will he carry her away to safety himself?
