Mara feeds Leo and Lily breakfast. Ethan claims he has a job interview and leaves the children in her care. He drives his beat-up car to Apex Meridian, changes out of coveralls, and receives greetings as the CEO. Ethan agrees to attend Victor Lawson's gala and orders an entry-level security badge. Meanwhile, Mara's friend offers her catering work at the same party. Mara decides to bring Leo and Lily along.

  1. 00:00: Breakfast at the Dining Table

    Mara dishes out breakfast for Leo and Lily. Ethan tells her that he must attend a job interview. He asks Mara to care for the kids during the day, and Mara agrees to look after the twins.

  2. 00:25: Arrival at Apex Meridian

    Ethan pulls up to the Apex Meridian building in a battered car. He strips off his dirty coveralls before stepping out. Building security guards bow deeply to him and address him as Mr. Cole as he enters.

  3. 00:39: New Orders in the Executive Office

    Now in an expensive suit, Ethan talks about his marriage with a friend. His assistant brings an invitation to Victor Lawson's gala. Ethan accepts the event invite, then instructs human resources to process him as a lobby guard.

  4. 01:06: Plans at the Carousel

    Leo and Lily ride a carousel while Mara confides in Mara's friend about Vanessa's coercion. Her friend offers her a $250 serving job at the Lawson gala. When Ethan texts that he is busy, her friend suggests bringing the children.
