Rival football players chase Piper Meadows through a dim stadium parking lot. Terrified, Piper calls her boyfriend, star quarterback Parker Hayes, for help. Parker is secretly partying at a crowded bar with a blonde woman. He mocks Piper's weight in front of his laughing teammates and hangs up on her. The attackers corner Piper, smash her phone, and shove her to the ground until sudden headlights shine right onto them.

Parker claimed he was home sleeping, but he is actually partying at a noisy bar. A blonde woman clings to his side. Parker answers Piper's phone call and immediately speaks to her with irritation and impatience.
00:36: Flashbacks of Four Years of Devotion
Piper remembers tutoring Parker late at night and handling his tactical analysis for four years without a social life. She also remembers giving her virginity to him the previous evening after he told her that he loved her.
00:56: Parker Hayes Denies Piper
Parker tells his laughing teammates that he is not sleeping with Piper. He insults her weight directly over the phone call. Refusing to help her, Parker hangs up on Piper while she pleads for him to come rescue her.
01:39: Approaching Headlights in the Lot
A rival player snatches Piper's phone and smashes it on the asphalt. He grabs her chin and shoves her down against the wall. A pair of bright car headlights suddenly cuts across the dark lot toward them.
