How episode 4 ends

The steep descent pauses as the plane balances itself in mid-air. The passengers relax, thinking the flight crew resolved the emergency. However, both pilots remain totally unconscious behind a locked door with broken controls. Who or what pulled the plane out of its dive, and how long will the aircraft stay in the air before dropping again?
