Victor settles his debt with Bruno and tells the loan shark to leave. He phones Sarah to say he has the surgery money ready. Sarah hangs up on him because Chris is winning chips for her. In another room, Chris prompts Sarah to double down all her winnings at baccarat. Victor bursts inside to warn her about a setup. Chris mocks him, and Sarah furiously shoves Victor toward the door.
Bruno fills a bag with winning chips from the VIP table. Victor tells the loan shark they are settled. Victor dials Sarah to announce Mia has her operation fee. Sarah boasts about Chris winning money and abruptly hangs up the call.
Chris hits a winning streak at the baccarat table inside a private room. An excited Sarah throws her arms around him. Chris encourages her to keep going, so Sarah slides all her chips forward to double her bet.
Victor bursts into the private room and blocks Sarah from betting. He warns her that the table is rigged. Chris insults Victor for being a clueless ex-con. Sarah accuses Victor of jealousy and shoves him out of the room.
“We're even Bruno. Get lost.”
“Victor, don't bother me. Chris is helping me make big money right now.”
“Stop. It's a setup.”
“A trap? Shut up ex con. You know nothing about this world.”
“Get out Victor. Don't ruin Mia's chance.”
Sarah shoves Victor back and orders him to leave so he does not ruin Mia's chance at survival. Chris sneers with smug satisfaction beside her, while Victor stands there with a grim expression. Will Sarah lose every chip on this hand, or can Victor find another way to step between her and the rigged game?
