Alejandro wakes up in his bedroom, pulls off his blindfold, and spots blood on the bedsheet right as Sofia slips out the door. One month later, Sofia helps Elena walk in the hospital ward. Elena repeatedly asks where Sofia found the money for her expensive surgery. Sofia remembers Alejandro grabbing her wrist that night. She tells Elena she regrets nothing, but nausea hits her and she collapses to the floor.

Alejandro wakes up in bed and removes his blindfold. Sofia slips out the bedroom door before he can see her face. Alejandro looks down at the bedsheet and notices a stain of blood left behind.

One month later in the hospital ward, Sofia helps Elena walk after her operation. Elena stops and questions her granddaughter directly, demanding to know where Sofia got the massive amount of cash to pay for the expensive procedure.

Sofia remembers the intimate night she spent in Alejandro's bedroom. In the memory, Alejandro reaches out and grips her wrist firmly. He looks toward her in the dark and demands to know who she is before she escapes.
01:00: Sofia Collapses in the Ward
Back in the hospital, Sofia tells Elena she does not regret her choice to save her life. Suddenly, a wave of nausea overwhelms Sofia. Her knees buckle, and she falls unconscious onto the hard floor.
