Athena's soldier forces the transfusion needle into Shelly Dawson's arm while Roland Smith crawls on the floor and swears revenge. Shelly screams for help as Roland's uncle, Mr. Smith, enters the hospital room with bodyguards. Shelly begs Mr. Smith to intervene because incompatible blood will kill them. When Mr. Smith orders Athena to release them, Athena hurls a syringe into his chest. She threatens his family if they disturb Theo, and mocks his warnings.
