Madison Foster
Destitute Mother and Maid
Madison wants to protect her twins, Elias and Amelia, from being exposed as supernatural beings. She endures brutal bullying from Chloe and takes on grueling domestic labor to afford Elias's medical surgery. When Noah attempts to assert physical dominance at Oak Manor, Madison pushes back with sharp words and open-handed slaps. She refuses to be intimidated by powerful men or cruel rivals.
Noah Lewis
Dragon Lord of Oak Manor
Noah is a cursed dragon royal driven by biological mate bonds and raw power. He spent six years searching for the woman who fled his castle bed. At Oak Manor, he dismisses glamorous suitors and focuses entirely on Madison's scent. While he commands loyal attendants and suppresses his violent beast transformations, his inability to control Madison's reactions constantly tests his pride.
Chloe Thompson
Vengeful Social Rival
Chloe is Madison's former classmate who uses wealth and social status to inflict misery. Her malice began with a bitter scholarship rivalry and escalated when she threw Madison to the castle beast. Now working at Oak Manor, Chloe attempts to orchestrate Madison's humiliation during hiring interviews. She acts out of pure spite, yet she cowers instantly when Noah's assistants threaten her life.
Elias
Madison's Dragon Son
Elias is Madison's young son who develops distinct dragon traits, including dark scales, horns, and a tail. He cares deeply about his family's poverty, even offering to sell his own dragon tail to help pay his medical costs. His physical changes force Madison into Noah's orbit, making his health the central catalyst for his mother's dangerous new job at Oak Manor.
Story so far
Madison Foster enters this story as the ultimate underdog. Her classmate Chloe Thompson uses wealth and malice to discard her into the Dragon Tower Castle. Chloe expects Madison to perish in the shadows. Instead, that cruelty hands Madison an unexpected bond with Noah Lewis, a cursed dragon lord bound in iron chains. Noah does not ask for consent when he marks her. He reacts on pure primal drive, imprinting on her before she flees at dawn.
When Madison returns six years later, the balance of power remains skewed, yet the battlefield shifts. She is no longer just a frightened student. She is a desperate mother protecting Elias and Amelia. Both children now display dragon horns and tails. The medical bills threaten to destroy her small family. This pressure forces her directly into Oak Manor for maid work. Noah sits on his estate sofa as an untouchable master searching for relief from his seasonal curse. Chloe operates behind the scenes as a hiring manager, ready to sabotage Madison again.
The dynamic between Noah and Madison is built on friction and concealed truth. Noah commands absolute authority over his staff, yet a simple slap from Madison shatters his control. She treats him like a workplace predator, completely unaware that this brooding master fathered the children she hides at home. Meanwhile, Noah senses her scent and obsesses over claiming her, but he remains blind to the twins. Every conversation in the manor carries sharp tension because one revelation will dismantle the employer-employee boundary.

Madison fights solely for survival and surgery funds. Noah hunts for his lost mate while wrestling with his monstrous nature. Oak Manor offers no safety for anyone involved.
