Story so far
A young piano student walks into a private hotel room to escape guards, only to find the father of the boy who bet her. When viewers watch Mafia Daddy's Forbidden Obsession online, the power imbalance hits immediately. Ryan treats Mia as disposable property at the card table. His father, crime boss Dante Vescari, plays an entirely different game. Dante buys Ryan's total marker the moment he realizes who Mia is. He claims authority over her life while Ryan cowers behind social appearances.
The drama strips away romantic illusions. Dante is not an innocent savior. He corners Mia against piano keys and inside limousines. He dares her to defy him. At the same time, he draws a hard line against physical abuse from his own son. He shatters Ryan's phone in a whiskey glass and puts a gun to an invading mobster's head. Mia despises Dante for breaking her illusions about Ryan, but Ryan gives her nothing to respect. The son flirts behind her back with Chloe and raises a hand to Mia on the terrace.
Mia spends these opening moments caught between shock and survival. She tries to dismiss her first night with Dante as a drug-induced accident. That defense collapses the second Dante leans across a family dinner table. Every encounter tightens Dante's hold on her. He doubles her concert pay and confronts rival thugs with bare fists. Mia questions his cruelty, yet she relies on his violence to survive the underworld circles Ryan dragged her into.
