Luis checks Maya's bedroom and asks about the open window. In the living room, he confronts her with Nick's number ten shirt, two cups, two glasses, a pizza box, and an empty wine bottle before storming out with his keys. Maya runs to the window and spots Nick lying injured in the bushes below. She rushes down to the sidewalk to help him up. Despite his bleeding shoulder, scratched face, and hurt knee, Nick smiles.

00:00: Searching the Bedroom Window
Luis enters Maya's bedroom and looks around the room. He walks directly over to the open window to inspect it. Then he confronts Maya and questions why her bedroom window is wide open during the cold month of October.
00:16: Confrontation in the Living Room
Luis stands in the living room holding up the Callahan number ten shirt. He lists the evidence of another man, including two cups, glasses, pizza, and wine. Feeling defeated, Luis grabs his keys and exits the apartment.
00:51: Looking Down into the Bushes
Once Luis leaves, Maya runs over to her bedroom window and leans outside. She peers down toward the alley below the apartment. She sees Nick Callahan lying in the bushes, visibly hurt from leaping out of the window.
01:06: Reunion on the Sidewalk
Maya hurries down the stairs to the sidewalk to assist Nick. He has a bloody shoulder, a scratched face, and a hurt knee from his fall. Even with those injuries, Nick smiles at Maya and says the escape was worth it.
