Key lines from episode 9

“How's your rash?”

Silas · Silas asks this when Cora runs outside to hug him after Wren departs.

“Much better. Silas, don't be angry at Wren. It's actually my fault. If I weren't so weak after my first shift... If I weren't allergic to something as ordinary as evening primrose, the Council wouldn't have made us swap rooms. Wren wouldn't have resented me. Wouldn't have wanted to hurt me.”

Cora · Cora says this while embracing Silas to frame herself as the blameless victim.

“How could it be your fault? She's petty. Acts like a savage, uncivilized wolf.”

Silas · Silas tells Cora this to comfort her while insulting Wren's character outside.

“Come on, let's go inside. You've just recovered. Don't catch a cold.”

Silas · Silas urges Cora to head indoors out of concern for her recent recovery.
