Episode 5 · Flora, Alex, Camilla
Alex takes back his keys and rides the elevator with Camilla, leaving Flora behind. At her desk, Flora gets a call from an angry client about modified quote numbers. The changes happened under Camilla's account and risk millions. In the conference room, the HR manager and IT specialist present system logs. Camilla weeps and blames Flora. Alex then orders Flora to sign a disciplinary notice.
Alex pulls his car keys back from Flora. He steps into the elevator beside Camilla and leaves Flora standing alone. Before the doors close, he coldly tells Flora to take a cab and expense the fare.
Flora sits at her desk and answers a call from an outraged client. The client complains about altered quote numbers. Flora checks the files and spots lowered costs made under Camilla's account, risking millions for the firm.
The HR manager and IT specialist display system logs verifying the changes originated from Camilla's login. Camilla bursts into tears. She claims she operated from Flora's computer and directly accuses Flora of framing her.
Alex sits quietly for a brief moment after Camilla finishes speaking. Instead of questioning the IT evidence, he slides a disciplinary notice across the table toward Flora. He directly commands her to sign the document.
“Take a cab. You can expense it.”
“Flora I know you don't like me. But a mistake like this will ruin my career. You can't frame me just because Alex is nice to me.”
“Sign it.”
Alex refuses to investigate Camilla despite the logs from the IT specialist. He chooses Camilla's story and demands Flora take the blame by signing the disciplinary paper. Will Flora submit to his order and sign the punishment, or will she refuse to take the fall for Camilla's costly mistake?
