Julieta stumbles through a doorway and collapses into Damián's arms, warning him that someone drugged her drink. Damián carries her to the couch. Julieta begs him to call Santiago or a doctor. Julieta stumbles through the doorway straight into Damián's arms. She gasps out that someone put drugs in her drink. Damián lifts her off her feet immediately and carries her across the room, laying her down onto the couch.
00:16: No Doctor in Time
Julieta asks Damián to contact Santiago or call a doctor to the room. Damián tells her that Santiago cannot help her. He explains that his private doctor is an hour away, leaving no time before the drug overtakes her system.

Julieta grows flushed and feverish on the couch. She breaks down into tears before Damián. She expresses her dread over creating a fresh public scandal that could damage the Mendoza family name and send her back into isolated exile.

Overcome by heat, Julieta moves close to Damián and asks for his help. Damián cautions her about tomorrow. Julieta pulls off his leather glove and presses her request. Damián pulls her against him and kisses her passionately.
