Cara Osborne climbs soaked out of the harbor after Nicole Hart runs her yacht into Cara's speedboat. Ten minutes before the crash, Cara's father calls to arrange her marriage at the East docks. At the harbor, Nicole crushes Cara's boat against the pilings and threatens her life. Cara calls her betrothed, Dario Grave, but he refuses to help. Nicole taunts Cara until Dario's brother, Luca Grave, steps forward and wraps her in his coat.

Episode 1 scene by scene

  1. 00:00: Drenched at the Harbor Dock

    Cara Osborne pulls herself out of the cold water onto the dock. She recalls being pushed off her berth and labeled a vase. Above the pier, Dario Grave and Nicole Hart stand together, looking down at her.

  2. 00:21: A Phone Call on the Water

    Ten minutes earlier, Cara steers her speedboat across the open harbor. Her phone rings with a call from Cara's Father. He informs Cara that he arranged a marriage for her at the East docks with the youngest man running them.

  3. 00:34: The Yacht Rams the Boat

    Cara reaches the dock in her speedboat. Nicole Hart steers a massive luxury yacht straight into Cara's path. Nicole rams Cara's smaller boat without hesitation, trapping it against the wooden dock pilings and crushing the vessel.

  4. 00:40: Nicole Demands Payment

    Nicole Hart walks down from her yacht onto the pier. She claims that she owns the entire dock. Nicole confronts Cara directly, threatening her life over an alleged scratch on the yacht's hull and demanding immediate payment.

  5. 01:10: Dario Dismisses Cara

    Trapped by Nicole at the dock, Cara dials Dario Grave to request his help. Dario looks down from his office window above the harbor. He refuses to intervene, telling Cara to deal with the problem without creating a scene.

  6. 01:22: Nicole Mocks Cara

    Nicole Hart listens as Dario dismisses Cara over the telephone. Nicole laughs in Cara's face and mocks her for needing male assistance. She insults Cara further by calling her trash right in front of the damaged boat.

  7. 01:30: Luca Grave Steps In

    Luca Grave walks onto the dock and approaches the shivering, drenched Cara. He drapes his warm coat around her shoulders and checks the boat. Dario watches silently from his window above while sipping a glass of whiskey.
