Davis Hayes casts Celia Bennett out into the wasteland, where an infected creature bites her. Celia prepares to end her life inside a shelter, but a radio message promises medicine and shelter for a child caregiver. She walks to Alvin Keller's estate. The butler lets her inside past still zombies. In the dining room, Alvin Keller struggles to feed his son Casper. Alvin turns, displays his zombie traits, and orders Celia to feed the boy.

00:00: Exile to the Zombie Wasteland
Davis Hayes shoves Celia Bennett outside the safe zone gates. A zombie bites her during her escape. Alone in an abandoned shelter, Celia considers suicide until a radio broadcast promises food and medical treatment in exchange for childcare.
00:18: Arrival at the Quiet Manor
Celia reaches the manor gates and notices zombies standing completely still. Mr. Graves opens the entrance for her. He speaks in a stern voice and warns Celia that the master wants a child caregiver, not a wife for himself.
01:10: Halted Attack in the Hallway
Celia follows Mr. Graves through the building. Suddenly, a zombie rushes toward her from an open door. A voice commands the creature to stop. Celia glances inside and spots a man standing calmly amidst a pack of compliant zombies.
01:34: Meeting Alvin and Casper
Celia enters the dining room as Alvin Keller pleads with young Casper to eat. Alvin turns around and reveals his zombie features. After Celia states her name, Alvin passes the food bowl to her and commands her to feed his son.
