Elena and Sloane find themselves pregnant by powerful, cold men. When Julian's former lover Celeste reappears, the two friends plan to fake their deaths. Three years later, Julian spots Sloane in a hotel hallway. Elena helps Sloane flee, but Dante catches Elena and binds her hands. In a flashback, Julian confronts Sloane at a poolside party over Celeste's miscarriage. Julian leaves his weeping wife on their anniversary, but Sloane promptly drops her tears.

Elena explains that she and Sloane are both pregnant by powerful men who do not love them. Celeste returns to Julian. Facing this crisis, Elena and Sloane secretly decide to fake their deaths to get away.
00:25: Hotel Hallway Confrontation
Three years later, Julian spots Sloane in a hotel hallway. Elena quickly helps Sloane get away. Elena turns around and Dante Moretti immediately grabs her. He uses his necktie to tie her hands together so she cannot run.
00:41: Anniversary Confrontation at the Villa
In a flashback, Sloane and Elena hang out with male models by the pool. Julian storms in and blames Sloane for Celeste's miscarriage. Sloane cries and begs him to stay for their anniversary, but Julian walks out anyway.
01:54: Sloane Drops the Act
Julian walks away from the poolside. Sloane instantly stops crying. Her devastated expression vanishes in a second. She breathes a sigh of relief because her tearful routine worked and Julian is finally gone from the villa.
