Kadell intercepts Julian outside the bar as Julian tries pushing a drugged Iver into a car. After Kadell punches Julian and carries Iver away, his security chief beats Julian and snaps a photo to warn the mayor. The terrified mayor phones Julian immediately. Back at the mansion, Kadell places a cold towel on Iver's feverish body. Iver pleads with Kadell to stay, prompting Kadell to hover over him on the bed.
