In their apartment, Ryan asks Ella if she heard any rumors. Ella asks if he is hiding secrets, but Ryan looks away and insists he loves her. The next day, Ella has a farewell meal with friends. She spots Ryan entering with his arm around his fiancée, Via Thomas. Ryan quickly drops his arm and claims the dinner is family business. As Ella leaves, Via blocks her path, wears Ryan's lost tie clip, and mocks Ella.

  1. 00:00: Ryan Evades Ella's Questions

    Ryan asks Ella if she heard any rumors lately. Ella presses him to admit if he is hiding something from her. Ryan avoids her gaze, offers no confession, and holds her hand while promising his love. Ella grows disheartened by his silence.

  2. 00:28: Dinner Encounter at the Restaurant

    Ella gathers with her friends the next day for a farewell dinner. She watches Ryan walk into the restaurant with his arm wrapped around Via Thomas. Ryan hastily pulls his arm away and whispers to Ella that it is merely a family business dinner.

  3. 00:49: Via Confronts Ella in Public

    As the gathering ends, Via stops Ella from leaving. Via displays Ryan's missing tie clip, now turned into a necklace. She loudly ridicules Ella for resigning from surgery and mocks her for trying to elevate her status through a wealthy man.
