At the guild, a supervisor scolds Marian for being late and mocks her village roots. Lady Isolde then enters and announces Duke Adrian's impending arrival, shocking Marian with the familiar name.

    Lady Isolde arrives with her attendants and clears the hall. She tells everyone that Duke Adrian will visit shortly. Marian hears the announcement and realizes the guild leader shares the exact same name as her husband.
