In the hallway, Liam Draconis spots the medicine and offers Ethan his piece of candy, promising to grow up fast and protect him. Ethan remembers how his ex-wife called him pathetic and his fox nephew labeled him a parasite. Outside the clinic, Ethan and Liam discover Selina waiting for them in a black luxury sports car.

    Ethan experiences a flashback to his divorce. His ex-wife mocks his condition and calls his actions pathetic, while the fox nephew he helped raise for two years stands beside her and insults him as a parasite.

    Ethan and Liam step through the front entrance of the hospital onto the sidewalk. Selina Draconis sits parked right along the curb inside a sleek black sports car, opening the door as the pair walks over to meet her.
