Who is who in The Forsaken Moon, and how they are connected.

Elysia
Former high lady of House Sterling
Elysia trusted Arthur and Leo for thirteen years after they rescued her at her parents' grave. That blind trust costs her dearly. The brothers lock her in an ice cellar and steal her magic core for a maid. Stripped of magic and near death, she stops begging for mercy. She seals a marriage contract in blood with Lucas to take her revenge.
Arthur
Eldest son and ice mage of House Sterling
Arthur presents himself as a principled protector, but he acts with arrogant cruelty. He gives young Elysia an owl companion, then condemns the same bird to death. When Lilian feigns sickness, Arthur refuses to examine the evidence. He pins Elysia with ice spikes and tears out her magic core, telling her that thirteen years of companionship mean nothing.
Leo
Second son and flame warrior of House Sterling
Leo acts on pure impulse and explosive violence. He once begged for Elysia's affection during their childhood. Now he directs his flame magic against her without hesitation. He burns her in the dungeon and throws a fiery spear through her chest. He completely buys Lilian's theatrical lies, eager to destroy his childhood sister to satisfy a maid.
Lilian
Scheming maid of the Sterling family
Lilian uses ruthless manipulation to climb above her station. She attacks Elysia's pet owl and drinks lethal poison to frame Elysia for dark curses. She understands how to play on the brothers' savior complexes. By pretending to be a fragile victim, she convinces the Sterling heirs to butcher their own adoptive sister and hand over a stolen magic core.
Lucas
King of the Dragon Clan
Lucas appears first in Elysia's vision before arriving in the flesh as a golden dragon. Clad in black and gold armor with an ornate mask, he possesses godlike power. He shatters Elysia's chains, heals her punctured chest, and offers the Sacred Marriage Vow. Lucas does not ask for excuses; he offers absolute devotion and retribution against House Sterling.

Story so far

The Sterling household runs on hypocrisy disguised as justice. For thirteen years, Arthur and Leo cast themselves as noble protectors of Elysia. They offered shelter at her parents' grave and handed her a companion owl. That bond vanished when a maid named Lilian whispered poisoned words into their ears. Now the Sterling brothers act as violent enforcers against their own sister. They lock her in a freezing cellar. The pair claims moral righteousness while inflicting pain.

Lilian plays household politics with brutal precision. She cuts her own arm and swallows venom to stage violent crimes. Arthur and Leo judge guilt based on whoever weeps loudest. When viewers watch The Forsaken Moon online, the drama comes from watching two supposed noble mages abandon basic reason. Arthur binds Elysia with spiked ice collars. Leo hurls fire through her chest. Together, the brothers rip out her living magic core and hand it to a smiling servant. This horrific theft becomes simple debt collection in their eyes.

This dynamic collapses the moment Lucas enters the cellar. Lucas is King of the Dragon Clan. He operates on pure authority and absolute retribution. He does not demand that Elysia prove her innocence. Instead, he seals her fatal chest wound with golden magic and offers a blood contract. Elysia spent thirteen years begging for basic decency from sworn brothers who treated her like a criminal. By signing the Sacred Marriage Vow, she trades helpless grief for dragon power.

Anyone following The Forsaken Moon full episodes will notice how quickly the power flips. The brothers believe they solved a problem by discarding a powerless girl. They abandon her on the cold stones beside her dying pet owl Lumi. In reality, their blind malice hands their former sister directly to a dragon king who answers cruelty with ruin. Arthur and Leo gave everything to a scheming maid. Now they will face a king who takes no excuses.
