Who is who in Reborn to Watch Them Rot, and how they are connected.
Chloe
Protagonist and narrator
Chloe survived a horrific murder in her previous life. Her family background in spices lets her identify dangerous mixtures by scent alone. She previously tried to help Stella with a family cure. Now, Chloe holds back her knowledge. She lets her enemies chase their own destruction without lifting a finger to rescue them.
Stella Hawthorne
Chloe's roommate and rival
Stella obsesses over beauty and dreams of marrying into money. She coats herself in homemade sunscreen laced with toxic spice to seduce men. When her skin rots, she refuses to take accountability and blames others for her downfall. Stella operates on vanity and ruthless entitlement, blind to the harm she inflicts on herself.
Logan Prescott
Chloe's disloyal boyfriend
Logan is a freshman student who values physical appearance over loyalty. He claims to be Chloe's partner, yet he immediately stares at Stella when she steps forward. He openly praises Stella's body and asks Chloe if Stella is available. His shallow greed makes him walk directly into Stella's scented trap.
Story so far
A second chance at life hits differently when your previous life ended with a bucket of sulfuric acid poured over your head. In Reborn to Watch Them Rot, Chloe learns that saving someone from their own foolishness will never earn gratitude. Her roommate Stella Hawthorne slathered herself in a toxic homemade sunscreen to attract wealthy suitors. When that concoction rotted Stella's skin, Chloe stepped in. She used her family herbal remedy to save Stella from death. Stella repaid that mercy with hatred. She tied Chloe to a rooftop and killed her. Stella screamed that the scars ruined her chance to marry into wealth.
When Chloe wakes up on the athletic field, training has just started. She remembers the horrific burns and the exact scent of the poison. This rebirth flips the moral dynamic completely. Chloe chooses silence over warnings. She knows the danger hidden in that bottle, but she refuses to intervene. Stella wants attention. Stella wants wealth. Chloe intends to let Stella chase both desires straight into disaster. Revenge here does not require physical violence. It is simply stepping out of the way while a narcissist orchestrates her own ruin.
The secondary betrayal adds fuel to the fire. Logan Prescott, Chloe's boyfriend, does not waste a single second. The moment Stella steps forward to show off her pale skin, Logan drools over her body. He turns directly to Chloe and asks if her new roommate is single. Logan jumps into the trap without hesitation, exposing his disloyalty instantly. For viewers following Reborn to Watch Them Rot full episodes, this dynamic sets up pure friction. You can watch Reborn to Watch Them Rot online and track how these selfish motives collide. Chloe holds the only cure, Stella spreads the poison, and Logan is too distracted to see the danger ahead.
